The secret of change is to focus all of your energy not on fighting the old, but on building the new. – Socrates
Happy Motivation Monday! Today we're sharing our thoughts on the above quote and how it can inspire change and progress for your Monday and the week ahead.

We love this quote because it's a recipe for change. Though we can all learn a lot from the past, which can aid us while making changes, this quote emphasizes the importance of looking to the future and "building the new" when making changes in your life. "Building the new" includes considering what you want and how you'll get there.

As you approach this new week, the above quote can inspire change and progress by encouraging you to focus on what you're creating right now, and what you want to create in the future. This likely won't happen over night, because "building" is a process, but by focusing on creating the new each day, change will come eventually.
