For today's Sparkly Saturday post, we're sharing an excerpt from the beautiful book "Simple Soulful Sacred" by Megan Dalla-Camina. This excerpt below invites each of us to consider how making changes and releasing unnecessary things in our individual lives may: create space for what you want and need now or in the future, brighten your life, and serve others.

"There is nothing permanent except change." ~ Heraclitus
Often we hold on to our belongings because we are invested in them. Financially, emotionally, socially. There is a sunk cost, because we paid for our things, so we hold on for fear of losing more than the item itself—also the time, energy and money spent acquiring it.
But what if you could release all that you no longer needed? You don't have to do [anything] extreme. Just walk through your home room by room, with a box or bag, collecting items that no longer serve you. It could be a cathartic exercise for you.
What can you release? What can you intentionally let go of, in the hope that it can serve someone else? What would that make space for in your life?
