Happy Wisdom Wednesday from Gorham Law! Today we're sharing four simple ways to overcome procrastination:

One. Identify which tasks in the various areas of your life you tend to delay completing, and then prioritize each task in order of importance and why each task is important to you.

Two. Reduce the number of decisions you have to make each day; for example, get a pretty planner or notebook and schedule an appropriate amount of time to complete the most important thing that must be completed tomorrow.

Three. Implement the "nothing alternative" where your only two options are to either: (1) focus on completing one or more important to-dos that you've been putting on the back burner, (2) or do nothing. To do so, block off and dedicate a few hours of uninterrupted "focus" time each morning or evening for completing those to-dos.

Four. Schedule a certain amount of "down time" each morning or evening to allow an idea or task to brew before taking action and/or to develop fresh, creative insights.

We'd love to hear how you overcome procrastination in the comments below!
