"A sense of gratitude expands the heart." ~ Daisaku Ikeda
For today's Wisdom Wednesday post, we're sharing a few thoughts on the transformative power of gratitude. While gratitude is oftentimes associated with the Thanksgiving holiday, we don't have to wait for the holiday season to embrace and practice gratitude.

In fact, by frequently cultivating gratitude, we can heighten our energy levels, improve our self-esteem, strengthen our hearts and immune systems, increase our empathy and spirituality, and strengthen our resilience (to name a few benefits).
One way to begin practicing gratitude is to challenge yourself to think of three things you are thankful for on a daily basis. Once you've committed to doing this on a consistent basis (say, for about a week), record those three things that you're grateful for each day in a gratitude journal and reflect on how your gratitude practice has enhanced your life.
